100 things
i found this on another blog...and thought it would be a fun way to start the year off...it was not my bucket list...but there were some things that i would like to try that were not on my bucket list...
here goes...
100 things
So this list has 100 things on it, and you are supposed to bold what you've done. Of course I had to add a little something…
1. Started your own blog...hello
2. Slept under the stars…I would camp out in my back yard all the time
3. Played in a band…I am still working on my own guitar skills
4.Visited Hawaii
5. Watched a meteor shower…this was one of my moms favs.
6. Given more than you can afford to charity…I have the perfect org. in mind.
7. Been to Disneyland…this is one of my dads favs.
8. Held a praying mantis…nope but kissed a banana slug
9.Climbed a mountain…tons
10.Sang a solo
11. Bungee jumped
12. Visited Paris
13. Watched a lightning storm at sea… would be so cool
14. Taught yourself an art from scratch …I think it is safe to say YES!!
15. Adopted a child
16. Had food poisoning
17. Walked to the top of the Statue of Liberty
18. Grown your own vegetables…yummy!
19. Seen the Mona Lisa in France
20. Slept on an overnight train…I rode the train a lot and it amazed me how many people do fall asleep…not for me though.
21. Had a pillow fight…still do!
22. Hitch hiked
23. Taken a sick day when you're not ill
24. Built a snow fort…Aarons cabin, we made an igloo.
25. Held a lamb
26. Gone skinny dipping… ;)
27. Run a Marathon…on my bucket list...hopefully this year with desiree.
28. Ridden in a gondola in Venice
29. Seen a total eclipse…I am not sure if it was total or not…I have seen a lot
30. Watched a sunrise or sunset…o ya, I am a morning person and i love the sun.
31. Hit a home run
32. Been on a cruise…a few!
33. Seen Niagara Fallsin person
34. Visited the birthplace of your ancestors
35. Seen an Amish community
36. Taught yourself a new language
37. Had enough money to be truly satisfied
38. Seen the LeaningTowerof Pisain person
39. Gone rock climbing…not hooked up to a harness.
40. Seen Michelangelo's David
41. Sung karaoke
42. Seen Old Faithfulgeyser erupt
43. Bought a stranger a meal at a restaurant...paid strangers bridge tolls.
44. Visited Africa
45. Walked on a beach by moonlight
46. Been transported in an ambulance…no thank goodness, but rode with a friend.
47. Had your portrait painted
48.Gone deep sea fishing
49. Seen the Sistine Chapel in person
50. Been to the top of the EiffelTowerin Paris
51. Gone scuba diving or snorkeling
52. Kissed in the rain…and danced, that is what makes the rain fun
53. Played in the mud…do bears poop in the woods
54. Gone to a drive-in theater…the only way to do it
55. Been in a movie
56. Visited the Great Wall of China
57. Started a business…stay tuned
58. Taken a martial arts class
59. Visited Russia
60. Served at a soup kitchen… it was not soup, I always helped my g-pa out at fishes and loafs.
61. Sold Girl Scout Cookies…and how!
62. Gone whale watching…had one 30 feet under our zodiac...scary!
63. Got flowers for no reason…thanks mer!
64. Donated blood, platelets or plasma…so far only blood
65. Gone sky diving…never again…it was for my brother!
66. Visited a Nazi Concentration Camp
67. Bounced a check who hasn't?
68. Flown in a helicopter…no but I flew my grandpas plane
69. Saved a favorite childhood toy
70. Visited the Lincoln Memorial
71. Eaten Caviar
72. Pieced a quilt
73. Stood in Times Square
74. Toured the Everglades
75. Been fired from a job
76. Seen the Changing of the Guards in London
77. Broken a bone…my arm at a b-day party when I was a kid…no fun
78. Been on a speeding motorcycle…no thanks to my brother.
79. Seen the Grand Canyonin person…with my mom, so amazing
80. Published a book…I am waiting for my friend mer.
81. Visited the Vatican
82. Bought a brand new car
83. Walked in Jerusalem
84. Had your picture in the newspaper…three times.
85. Read the entire Bible…almost
86. Visited the White House
87. Killed and prepared an animal for eating
88. Had chickenpox
89. Saved someone's life…not that I know of that would be amazing to say yes too.
90. Sat on a jury
91. Met someone famous…define famous, Tim Armstrong, Travis Barker, Tim Holtz, Ali Edwards
92. Joined a book club
93. Lost a loved one
94. Had a baby…not yet, soon I hope
95. Seen the Alamo in person…it is so small
96. Swam in the Great Salt Lake
97. Been involved in a law suit
98. Owned a cell phone…I have had the same # for over 10 years
99. Been stung by a bee…twice
100. Read an entire book in one day…when I was a kid I would always read outside.
it made me think a little more about my bucket list and what i still want to do and what i will try and do this year! i had over 40 or so out of that list some of them were not for me at all and some i cant wait to do...
give it a try...it was fun to re-visit your past and think about your future.

I can't believe it, but I have done 59 of these !!! Of course, I am a bit older then you are--you still have plenty of time. This did get me thinking a past fun. I love the one of "being on a speeding motorcyle". I wasn't just on it--I WAS DRIVING MY 550 HONDA !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I will have to go back & count how many I can check off that list. Just wanted you to know that I too, have kissed a banana slug! I wanted to be part of the "banana slug club" while camping. If my cousins had joined, i had to too, right?
