well, we did it in 3.5 days!!! CHA is such a whirl wind of inspiration, we got {most of our orders in} and a ton of great ideas to bring back.  we met a lot of great people and hung out with some of our favorites.

this was such a great ? that needed more than a 3x4 card to write. so i wrote the answer on a separate sheet of paper ( so i could write as much as a needed ) and put it in this mini Manila envelope.

i saw this idea when i was popping into some of my fav. blogs and decided this is something i can do...it just started and you can do it to...i will have my first done very soon!!!

it is a lot like the project 365 {but way more do-able for me} once a week on *emily falconbridge* she will post a question and you answer it in what ever form you feels right...i am going to stick to a smaller media like she suggest so i will be more likely to finish it. i lack severely in the journaling dept. so i am hoping this will help...i also hope this will open up a lot of topics i would not have ventured into on my own...i am so excited i have already fig. out my format and gathered material...now i can get stated.

i just had to share this...

mer gave to me a canvas she had created over a year ago and i love, love, love it...not just as a piece of art but what it means and why it was created...she gets me and knows my style...as you can clearly see from her canvas.

she dose not get to show off her work very much {soon that will change} :]

and i truly love her style and design and think you all will too...

yummy toast...

well 2 of my bests came over on sunday and celebrated 2009 the way it should be celebrated...together and with desert.

mer saw a yummy recipe for a champagne desert and knew which 2 girls would love it most...thats what friends are for.

it was called white peach, champagne float:

ingredients:

6 medium-size white peaches, halved, pitted, each half cut into 4 wedges

2 pints peach ice cream

3/4 cup crème de cassis (black-currant liqueur) plus additional for drizzling

2 cups chilled brut Champagne or sparkling wine

preparation:

Place 3 peach wedges in bottom of each of 6 tall glasses. Top with 1 scoop ice cream, then another 3 peach wedges. Add second scoop ice cream and top with 2 more peach wedges. Drizzle each with 2 tablespoons crème de cassis. Pour 1/3 cup Champagne into each glass. Top with 1 scoop ice cream, drizzle with additional crème de cassis, and serve.

it made me think a little more about my bucket list and what i still want to do and what i will try and do this year!  i had over 40 or so out of that list some of them were not for me at all and some i cant wait to do...

give it a try...it was fun to re-visit your past and think about your future.
