GTKC...sneak peak week!

here is a glimpse of one of my favorite kits {i know i say that a lot, but this one is really awesome}.  the GT February Kit Club Sneak Peek week has been happening at the GT blog all week {there are still a couple more to go so check it out} so, you have probably heard by now, of this wonderful little piece of heaven called Pinterest...and if not you need to stop everything and check it out...go ahead i will wait right here till you get back...see what i mean...it is like etsy and pottery barn had a baby! i am totally hooked.  which is surprising because i could not get in to the myspace or facebook thing, i have never really been sucked into something like this, which is why i had to scrapbook it...because i am still kinda surprised at how hooked i am on Pinterest!

i have just one more DPLO created with the January Kit of the Month...which by the way is sold out at Green Tangerines!!! it was from last may, my family threw me a bridal shower {honeymoon bound was the theme} we had such a great day, the weather was so warm, the games were a blast and i really was showered with love!

a sweet weekend!

i just wanted to personally thank all of the sweet ladies who attended Green Tangerines 3rd annual Scrap and Spa Retreat Weekend...it was such a great time! and a HUGE thanks to all of the creative crew that helped keep things running smoothly...thanks so much! here are just a few highlights from this super sweet weekend, i hope to see you all next year!

here is yet another DPLO from Green Tangerines Kit Club! this is a sketch i use often...for those layouts that i only have a couple photos for...this one was from thefirst and last Brooks and Dunn concert we went to...a great show it was......

best weekend ever!

mr.z and i spend our birthdays at Dillon Beach this last weekend with our 2 brown dogs and camper! it was agreed that it was the greatest birthday weekend together {thus far}.  our camp site was stellar, the weather was beyond amazing, sunny the whole time and that sun felt so amazing on your skin {sunday was windy, but we hung out in the camper playing card games and watching movies} i went for a jog on the beach monday morning with my dogs, mr.z found an amazing rock course for his new Christmas toy {remote controller rock crawler} the dogs had a blast, we roasted marshmallows and i could go on and on...but i will just share some photos!

29 before 30.

i have seen this great idea over on one of the blogs i stock, you may have heard of it...a beautiful mess ;)...any who, she created a list of goals, dreams, ideas and wants for this next year, and being the season of resolutions i created my own.  i know it all may not happen but writing it down sure will get me that much closer...and i really do think i can do...i mean i do have 366 days this year!!

here is my list i thought today would be a great day to post it being that it is the last day i will be 28 and tomorrow i will start on my list...wish me luck...i should be a fun and amazing adventure!

 

GTKC...Jan #1

i have one of my DPLOs from the January GTKC...this kit had more of a monochromatic feel with the creams, teals and orange-ish tones...and i loved it...i especially love the pink paislee "wood shop" letters, can you tell they filled one page!  our family has a house right on the beach in Aptos, and we go at least once a year as an entire family over the summer...it is one of my favorite trips took look back on and forward to every year!

here is the last DPLO i did useing the Dec GTKC!  it was our Christmas with the Williams! like i said before, i love how i finished all my 2008 Christmas layouts with this kit...man what a good feeling!
