happy leap day! i love having leap year...even though it is just one extra day every four years it is still nice to have that extra day every once in a while...time goes by way to fast, like our 80's prom party for example...over 3 years ago we had this valentines day party and time has flown by since then.
i used the Feb GTKC for this DPLO and used my silhouette to cut out those fun borders on the sides...boy do i love that thing...and did i mention yet that Green Tangerines will be selling them soon!

b day girl
look whooo turned one! our sweet little niece aspen hazel...just five days after her baby brother was born. we celebrated last saturday with a ton of friends and family! it was such a warm, wonderful day...here are a "few" photos...

GTKC...Feb #2
this DPLO holds one of my favorite traditions with my friends. every year for Christmas we draw names with in our group of girls and then shop for new fun undies for that chica! this year my BFF and roomie amanda {aka: super mate} drew my name and managed to get me a pair of under-ware in every color of the rainbow...now that is a great friend! the February GTKC colors were perfect for this page. i hope you got yours because they are already sold out at the store!!!!

fat tuesday
just 10 days ago i was lucky enough to partake in the Mardi Gras festivities in New Orleans with my best friends...so in honor of the big easy and fat tuesday, i thought today would be a great day to share our adventure {in a nut shell of course, i took way to many pics...but how can you not? NOLA is gorgeous}
as you can see, we had a blast and did as much as we could do in 4 days and 4 nights...rum tour, mardi gras world, ghost walk of french quarters, swamp boat ride, parades, theme nights out on Bourbon Street, architecture, culture, history, great food and BEADS and we got a lot of beads!!!!

GTKC...Feb #1
like i said a couple posts back...this is now my favorite kit! i used the custom tag to journal on, in the bottom right corner {they are super cute...sewn on hearts...that fold up}. the border on the left side was made with my silhouette! man i love that thing. i have a few more DPLOs i will share with you from this kit {and if you like this one you should probably head in to Green Tangerines ASAP, because it has been flying out the door and we only have a couple left!!!

oooooo i am so excited....we are on our way to the big easy for a pre-mardi gras celebration, with parades, rum tours, a swamp tour and boat ride, a haunted ghost tour {yep, amanda will have her ghost hunting gear...emf}, history, culture, great music, fabulous food and tons of beads!!!!!
