oh the color...February's kit is full of it, as you can see from our PBD brandi's layout! i love how she used the edge of a shield on the right side of this page, it gives it a lot of shape and movement. plus, pinterest... need i say more?!? if you haven't checked this site out you should... but beware... hours of time can get lost on this inspiration filled site! well done brandigirl!

we had crazy amounts of goodness happening around GT this past weekend... and part of that was seeing all the great pages completed in week 1 of our biggest scrappers challenge! this years challenge has 11 women competing for the title of biggest scrapper!! each week they can scrap a maximum of 40 points... which equals 10-20 single pages depending on the complexity of the page... and this week 6 ladies finished with 40 points!! congrats to catherine h, cindy o, liz l, robyn f, suzanne j, and terri g! each of you should stop in and pick out your scrappy prize! great job to everyone this week! looking forward to seeing more pages pouring in!

check out the first sneak peek of our newest monthly kit from the GTKC!!! we are starting off February's sneak week with our PBD {Pretty Big Deal} girl sarah, and her version of the sketch from this kit. i love the theme of this DPLO...i wish i had pictures of my bedroom as a little girl {it was Disney's Little Mermaid all the way} great cluster by the title sarah...looks great!

Congrats to Miss Meriem McKay for winning $5 in last week's "Hip to be Square" challenge. I have so much fun seeing what you ladies come up with for these challenges. Remember last week when I gave you a hint about this week's challenge? I hope you had the chance to take a few pictures and are ready to scrap them for this week.
For this challenge I want you to use pictures from THIS year. You can choose to do any size layout you'd like (single or double page), but I want you to use a recent photo. Included in this challenge you will need to have a cut-out or punch (I hand-cut the hearts out of this really cute Jillybean paper) and two different fonts (I used two different sticker letters for my title).
Please e-mail me your creation by Monday at 6pm PST to be eligible for the random drawing of $5 credit for the store to jamie.greent@gmail.com Remember that you'll need a recent photo from 2012, a cut-out/punch/die-cut image, and two different fonts on your page. You may enter up to three entries.

Our Golden TIcket winner, Lynn Fontaine, created this wonderful layout highlighting a trip her husband took to see the San Francisco 49ers. And being a HUGE New York Giants fan it must be good in order for me to post it. Plus, what are the odds I'm going to find a perfect layout for the big game today? Talk about karma!
The retreat is winding down, but the troops are still creating and enjoying their spa time, finishing up the fun challenges, and getting excited for the last raffle prize drawing of the day. Thank you to everyone that made this Spa and Scrap Retreat so much fun! We look forward to seeing everyone again soon and for those that didn't make this one plan to join us for another time. We'd love to hang out with you!
