new spring hours...

Changing things up for the spring and summer!! With daylight savings around the corner it will be light out later and lots of us will be pulling out the BBQ's and playing in the great outdoors till the sun goes down! So excited I can hardly wait!! Late night shoppers do not fret... we will still be here till 9 on nights when we have classes!

GTKC Sneak Peek Week...brandi!

happy leap day! we have another peek at the march GTKC...today our PBD brandi is sharing her version of the sketch.  she also chose to sew on this page, but she sewed the perimeter of the DPLO with her sewing machine using black thread...she mimicked the fun faux stitched "thickers" you get in this kit.  well done brandigirl.  we will have PBD maegen up next! enjoy this extra day.

Stash Challenge

I need to apologize for missing last week.  I got an all expenses paid trip to Sin City and did my best to win my fortune on the Penny Slots.  Needless to say, I'm back and still poor.  But we did have a great time.  Now I need to get back to some challenges!  I did want to let Michelle Criswell know that she is the winner of the $5 store credit.  Thanks to everyone that entered!

With this week having a Leap Day and all, I thought it would be fun to go dig through my stash and make something using an item or two from way back in the day.  I spent more time laughing at the stuff I found than time I actually spent making this card, but I did have fun.  This week I'd like you to find something to use on a card or a layout that has some dust on it.  For my card I found some old My Mind's Eye die-cuts and frames.  I also found some eyelash fiber and a red button to add from days gone by.

You'll be surprised at what's old is new again.  I found so much stuff that I'll have to do this challenge at least one more time to dazzle you with my plastic photo frames, bottle caps and mesh!  You can use older papers or embellishments, but challenge yourself to use something REALLY old in your stash of goodies.  You can enter up to three different projects to count towards entries for the $5 prize.

welcome back.  today we have our PBD brenda sharing her take on the march GTKC sketch.  she used the amazing white "uni-ball" gel pen to faux stitch around her circles...a great detail for a quick stitch look. i am loving the rich primary colors in this kit.  check back soon for another sneak peek.

it is that time again...sneak peek week for the up and coming kit of the month.  our PBD kristen b. is kicking off this months peek.  i love the stitching around her photos { i can't get enough of the sew easy...because it truly makes sewing on your page a breeze } the title is fun too, she was able to mock the spelling of her son's band with the backwards "E"...very clever kristen.  we will be back with more soon!
