we have a beginner today in the LIMELIGHT...this was veronica's first handmade card that she made for her mother {whom she treated to NSD for mother's day this year...best gift ever} thanks for sharing, i know your mom loved it!

GTKC Sneak Peek Week...brenda!

good afternoon!  as promised...PBD brenda is sharing her work today! she too used the different fonts and letters from this kit to create a fun title.  we will have more for you tomorrow...see you then.

in the LIMELIGHT today is adrienne, who is a big fan of Green Tangerines' KOW and limited edition KOW!!! as you can see here she transformed our kits to work for her pictures...and they work so well...super cute adrienne.  we still have a few of the "lets roll" limited edition KOW's here at the store, and check back tomorrow morning for the newest KOW!

Go Wild!

I cannot believe that it is almost time for school to be over for the summer.  Time just flew by this school year.  With four kids I'm expecting a pretty wild summer so I thought this week we could use an animal print paper to create something fun.

The twist this week is that I want you to pair your animal print with a fun bold color.  I chose to pair my zebra print with a sassy bright pink.  You might go crazy with a giraffe print and a bright yellow or maybe a tiger print with a bold green. Something along those lines.  Plus I'd like you to add some fabric, ribbon or twine to punch it up a bit.

Congrats to Lisa Dones for rockn' the cool die-cut papers last week.  She gets to use $5 next time she's in the store.  How fun is that?  Maybe you'll win this week.  All you have to do is submit a layout or card using animal print, a bold color to compliment and some fabric, ribbon or twine.  You may send up to three entries to me by Monday at 6pm to [email protected] to be eligible to win the $5.

Looking forward to seeing your creations.  Remember, it's a jungle out there, be sure to take lots of photos and scrap them this week.

Hip Hip Hooray! it is GTKC Sneak Peek Week again!!!! all this week we will give you a peek at the up and coming June GTKC. today we have the lovely and talented PBD maegen starting us off with her DPLO.  I love the pennant flag on the left page {way cute} and of course the mix of fonts in the title! well done maegen...check back tomorrow for PBD brenda and her sneak at the new kit!
