KOW...a day at the Zoo!

Ransom Note

       

Happy Tuesday!  This weekend as we were scrambling to run out of the door for one of four soccer games my daughter informs me that she can't find one of her soccer uniform socks. Not a huge deal as we tend to lose things around here and I'm sure things disappear at your house too.  Only, I'm not sure your child would then try to explain to you that it's missing because "somebody probably came in and stole it.  We should look for a ransom note".  Seriously.

That got me to thinking what a ransom note about a sock would look like which lead to me thinking about a layout which lead me to asking you to create a card or a layout this week that uses random letters or words to create a title.

That's it.  Pretty fun stuff.  A page or a card using a ransom note style title or saying. You have until Monday at 6pm to submit up to three entries into our random drawing for $5 to use in the store.  You may send those to [email protected] and on Tuesday I will draw a winner and give you the next challenge.

GTKC Sneak Peek Week...sarah!

welcome back, PBD sarah is sharing her DPLO from the sept. kit with us today...and she is scrapping Disney and without Disney paper! that's right, there are so many bright fun colors in this kit you can scrap just about any of your photos.  from a wedding to disneyland! 

Block Party

Happy Tuesday!  I am so thrilled that several of you played in my large card challenge.  Yay!  Congrats to Heidi Ungureanu on being this week's random $5 prize winner.  And thanks to all those that played!

This week I wanted to play with a color block style layout. I just love the simplicity of them.  They are clean and create a fun visual.  While making your creation please choose at least 3 colors and run with those.  I chose white, pink and aqua to use on this layout of Squish on her first day. It's really that simple.  A color block layout design using at least three colors. Have fun!

You may create up to three entries (layout or card) and submit them to me to [email protected] by Monday at 6pm.  I will have Squish pick a random winner and have a new challenge for you next Tuesday.

GTKC Sneak Peek Week...brandi

Good evening! Pretty Big Deal Brandi is sharing her sketch layout with us today.  it just so happens that a few of the papers in this kit worked perfectly for her best friends wedding photos...so beautiful! tomorrow PBD sarah will share and thursday we will charge for your kits and have them ready on FRIDAY!!!!! 

GTKC Sneak Peek Week...brenda!

Howdy Y’all… {Sorry I am in our fall retreat mode which kicks off today and is going to be a boot scootin good time}

Ok, my game face is back on and PBD Brenda has her peek at September’s GTKC for you today!  She has used the most of the color spectrum for this DPLO, no discrimination here :)  I also love that she used some of the art work from the event she is scrapbooking as an embellishments for her page…cute Brenda!

KOW...first day of kindergarten/school

Happy KOW day!
