Okay, so the title of this post makes it sound like I'm going to slap down some excellent knowledge on you about scrapbooking and life. That's not going to happen. Probably ever. But I did want to point out that journaling is important especially for those photos that aren't obviously associated with a holiday or big event. Take my example. I took just this one little picture to document our outing to the Folsom Outlet Mall. Just me, my mom and my girls. We had a fun day of shopping and grabbing lunch.
This week I'd like you to showcase a layout that uses journaling in your handwriting. And the twist? I wnat you to combine it with chipboard and three patterned papers (my striped flower is chipboard covered in paper).
You can submit up to three layouts to me to [email protected] by 6pm Monday. Mary Cundiff did that last week and she won $5 to use at the on-line store when it open. Exciting stuff right? All you have to do is create a layout using handprinted journaling, three patterned papers and chipboard and you could be in the random drawing for the $5.
