The Twist is: it's Wednesday!

Hi there!  I'm sorry.  The holiday completely threw me off of my game.  I didn't have a chance to post up anything yesterday, so here I am with a fun little sketch for you for this week.  This is from Juliana Michaels.  I found it on Bo Bunny's site.  I just love their papers and products.  And Kelly likes them too so she always carries their stuff and it's on sale if you need to grab some from the store.

This week I'd like you to use this sketch as your inspiration.  You can probably even make a really cute card out of it, right?  It's really versatile.  I'm going to flip it to the right and use it that way.  Whatever you decide to do you actually have until Monday, November 26th to email me up to three creations to [email protected].  Along with the sketch I'd like you to include something from the fabulous Bo Bunny peeps.  Papers or embellishments and from any line you choose.  Once you submit your entries you are in our random drawing for $5 to use towards Green Tangerines products.  Yay!

Congrats to Mary Cundiff for her entry last week of using orange, aqua and twine!  She wins $5 to use at the store.

Feeling Thankful

Well, I'm bummed to say we don't have a winner from this last week, but I thought if I gave you an easy challenge you might want to play this week for your chance to win $5 to the store.

Each year I play the "Thankful-a-day" game on facebook.  Each day in November you put in your status what you are thankful for.  It can be anything from family and friends to Salted Caramel Mocha Fraps or red ribbon when you need it for a project.  That got me thinking about making a card or a layout about what I'm thankful for.  And that's where you come in.  I'm VERY thankful to Green Tangerines, the friends I've made there and the wonderful people I've met along the way.  As the store is getting ready to close it's doors at the end of this month I'm thankful for the opportunity I had to work there and also to be a part of this new adventure that Kelly will be taking on.  That's right, you people aren't getting rid of me that easily!  We'll still have a blog, facebook and soon a way for you to get your hands on some great product that Green Tangerines is known for.  

This week I'd like you to create a layout or a card about being thankful or giving thanks.  The twist is that I want you to incorporate orange, aqua and twine in your creations. You may send up to three entries to me by Monday at 6pm to [email protected] to be entered to the random drawing for $5 to use in the store.  Don't worry, if you don't have a chance to use it before the doors close, you will be able to use it when the on-line carts are available.  But of course, we'd love to see you come down to the store so we can show you how thankful we are for you.

due the the crazy week we have had here in the store, the two "12 weeks of Christmas" kits will be delayed a day or so...and we don't want you to worry...we are going to finish out the rest of the months and get a few more calendars in before we close our doors!!!

classes this week...

hey guys! even with all of the craziness going on around here we are still hosting a few more classes this month.  Friday Brandigirl and Brenda will be hosting card club, come make 8 holly jolly cards for your holiday season on the 9th from 10am - noon or 6:30 - 8:30 for only $15.00.

Friday night amanda is teaching a cricut recipe book also from 6:30-8:30pm for $29.00

and Marsha will be teaching this wonderful Tea Time DPLO on Saturday the 10th from 10am-1pm for $21.00
